Nsimbi Impact is a data driven, female led investment platform transforming financial access for women led businesses across Sub-Saharan Africa, starting in Uganda. The fund emerged from over a decade of grassroots experience at Women in Technology Uganda (WITU) and Hive Colab, where we trained and supported thousands of women entrepreneurs and early-stage startups. We saw firsthand that talent and determination were never lacking. It was access to capital that held women back.

Nsimbi operates two catalytic funds: the Micro Business Fund, which provides flexible, collateral-free loans to micro entrepreneurs; and the SME Growth Fund, which offers patient capital and strategic support to scale-ready businesses.

Our model is rooted in community trust. We partner with Entrepreneur Support Organizations (ESOs) and Community Based Organizations (CBOs) to identify, vet, and mentor investable women entrepreneurs. Each entrepreneur also receives continuous support through digital tools, voice powered and multilingual interfaces, and chatbot-based business and financial literacy training.
